We are pleased to announce the exclusive pre-release of the new record "Kristin Diable & The City."  From the heart of New Orleans French Quarter, this album was recorded in an apartment-turned-live studio room in the historic Pontalba Building on Jackson Square and marks an evolved step forward for this notable new artist.

This exclusive afternoon reception and performance will be held in the Bywater at KD's personal loft space, with beautiful acoustics and expansive views. After an intimate performance of the new record, the infamous Krewe Du Vieux Parade kicks off just down the street at 6:30.

Tickets include a personalized pre-release copy of the new CD and specialty drinks (TBA). If you have a beverage of choice you'd like to bring, feel free.

This will be the only place to get an advance copy of the record before it's March 1st release. Hope you can join us for this very special evening of music and friends. It is your direct patronage that allows us to create music with complete integrity and we thank you for making it so.

In support of the new release, the band will be perfoming coveted spots at this year's French Quarter Festival, New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and more. This is a great opportunity to see and hear it before anyone else, in a truly unique environment.

Reception: 3:30-5:00pm

Performance: 5:00-6:30pm

***tickets are very limited, so please be sure to purchase yours in advance.

More on the record from the liner notes:

"This album was recorded in our loft apartment in the historic Upper Pontalba building, overlooking Saint Louis Cathedral and the mighty Mississippi River in the heart of New Orleans’ French Quarter. From our vantage point atop this ever-enigmatic corner of the world, we make this note on life and times: the City. The core of these songs was tracked live in an attempt to capture the integrity of spirit that arises when music is played in a room where the focal point is the joy of the moment, nothing less or more.  Music, at its very best, is truth.  Truth offered up in a new context that allows for the beauty to be revealed in the cracks of our perception.  You cannot summon Truth at will; you can only set the table, make provisions and hope this honored guest stops by to break some bread.  Truth usually slips in once you’ve turned your head the other way.  She cleans her plate and goes about her business.  You’ll know she was there as your cup overflows.  Thank you for joining us. Welcome to our table."
